Animals
and plants disappear from the Yasuní.
Yasuní National Park is one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet that should be protected by Ecuadorians. The government, with the public policies that preserve the territory, protects amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals, plants, trees and flowers.
I think that the habitat of these species has
been altered by deforestation, the illegal sale of species, poaching, and the
burning of forests. The birds are in danger of extinction. I consider that
people destroy Yasuní Park to receive money for oil. Caring for biodiversity
and conserving nature does not matter to people. The "oso de anteojos" or Tremarctos ornatus, is
in danger of disappearing because they destroy their habitat.
I think that the natural forests if they are
changed or cut produce the extinction of the plants and animals of the Yasuní. Everyone
is responsible for taking care of this piece of land. Yasuní produces pure air
which benefits people's health.
